As much as we complain about our economy and how a great number of us are in financial distress, we can never imagine ourselves in the situation which the people of Haiti have found themselves. The images are indeed disturbing but what is even more upsetting is that it has taken a travesty of this nature to cause us to focus on helping our fellow man/woman/child. In any case, this would be the ultimate time to act.
